The Mute Bar is a touch/control bar on your AeroBand Guitar that enables two main functions: Palm Mute (when playing) and Mute/Stop (when you want to pause or stop the sound).
You may also access advanced features via the AeroBand app after connecting via Bluetooth.
How to use the Mute Bar
Enable Mute Bar in "Setting":
- Open the AeroBand Guitar app, connect via Bluetooth.
- Go to: Settings → Mute Bar. Make sure the Mute Bar feature is enabled.
1. Selecting "Mute Bar"
Selecting “Setting” → “Mute Bar”→ “Mute Bar”. You can use the Mute Bar in two ways:
-
Perform Mute / Stop Sound:
While playing, press and hold the Mute Bar to instantly stop the sound. The sound will immediately mute or stop, which is helpful for transitions, breaks, or when you’ve finished playing.
-
Perform Palm Mute while continuing to play:
You can also press and hold the Mute Bar while continuing to play to achieve a Palm-Mute effect, replicating the muted tone of a real guitar.
2. Selecting "Stroke"
Selecting “Setting” → “Mute Bar”→ “Stroke”. You can use the Mute Bar to perform a string-slap effect.
By tapping or striking the Mute Bar, the system will produce a string-slap sound, similar to the percussive slap technique on a real guitar.
3. Selecting "None"
Selecting “Setting” → “Mute Bar”→ “None”.
The Mute Bar will no longer trigger any functions such as muting or string-slap.
You can play normally without any interaction from the Mute Bar.
