Thank you for using PocketDrum! This guide explains how to connect your PocketDrum depending on how you want to use it.
1. Using PocketDrum with Music Playback
If you want to play along with music on your phone using the drumsticks and listen through wired headphones or speakers, follow these steps:
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Select the Bluetooth device named “PocketDrum Audio”.
- Once connected, you can play along with your music using the drumsticks.
2. Using PocketDrum via MIDI
If you want to use your drumsticks as a MIDI controller.
- Please connect the adapter to your computer via a wired connection and open your preferred DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
You can choose between PocketDrum Audio or PocketDrum MIDI depending on your intended usage.
Note: If you are unable to connect to PocketDrum Audio via Bluetooth or encounter errors such as “the PIN or product activation is incorrect”, this may indicate an issue with your adapter.
