The following are the features of the PocketDrum adapter:
1. Power On
- Press and hold the Power button (⑦) to turn on the adapter.
- The Bluetooth indicator (⑧) will flash white, meaning it is ready to pair.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- On your phone device, enable Bluetooth and select the adapter from the list.
- Once connected, the indicator will stop flashing and stay steady white.
3. Audio & MIDI Setup
3.1 For Audio Playback:
- Connect headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm audio output (⑨).
- Connect a phone to the 3.5mm audio input (⑩) for mixing background audio.
3.2 For MIDI Connection:
- Use a Type-C data cable that supports MIDI signal transmission to connect the MIDI output & charging port (⑥) to your computer. This will send MIDI signals to your DAW software.
4. Basic Controls
- Adjust volume with Volume + (②) and Volume - (③).
- Short-press the Tone control button (④) to cycle through 8 different sounds.
- Long-press the tone control button to toggle L/R mode.
5. Troubleshooting Tips for the Adapter
- No Power: Ensure the adapter is charged via the Type-C charging port (⑥).
- No Bluetooth Connection: Turn the adapter off and on, then re-pair with the device (pedals/drumsticks).
- No Sound: Check the volume level, ensure headphones or speakers are properly connected to the 3.5mm output(⑨), and confirm your paired device is playing audio.
- MIDI Not Working: Use a Type-C data cable that supports the MIDI signal transmission, and confirm your DAW software recognizes the adapter as a MIDI device.
