What is DAW?
A DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is music production software used for recording, editing, and creating music tracks.
Connection Method
Connect your device to the computer using the Type-C Cable provided with the guitar.
Software Setup
For optimal performance with your AG guitar, follow these setup steps for popular DAWs:
- Most common DAWs (including Logic Pro, Cubase, and FL Studio) will automatically detect MIDI devices.
- If automatic detection fails, manual configuration may be required.
Note: Setup instructions may vary slightly depending on your DAW version and operating system. For detailed, DAW-specific guidance, please refer to our complete setup guide.
Cubase
Demonstration version: (Tested on Cubase 12 Pro Demo Version).
1. After opening Cubase, Click 'Studio' > 'Studio Setup'.
2. Click 'MIDI Port Setup', ensure there are 2 MIDI inputs and 3 MIDI outputs from AG Guitar.
3. Find the entry labeled 'Guitar-MIDI In', then uncheck the box next to 'In All MIDI Inputs'.
4. Creating an Instrument Track: Add a new Instrument Track in Cubase, select 'AeroBand-Midi' from the MIDI input options. If you want to use MIDI pedals or a controller with AeroBand AG guitars, please choose 'All MIDI inputs'.
5. After completing the setup, you can begin creating music with your AG guitar.

2. Deselect the 'Guitar-Midi' checkbox.
FL Studio
1. Open FL Studio and navigate to: 'Options' > 'MIDI settings'.
2. Ensure there are 2 MIDI inputs and 3 MIDI outputs from AG Guitar, and ensure 'Guitar-Midi' remains disabled.
