1. What is DAW?
A DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is music production software used for recording, editing, and creating music tracks.
2. Connection Method
Connect your device to the computer using the Type-C Cable provided with the guitar.
3. Software Setup
For optimal performance with your AeroBand Guitar, follow these setup steps for popular DAWs:
- Most common DAWs (including Logic Pro, Cubase, and FL Studio) will automatically detect MIDI devices.
- If automatic detection fails, manual configuration may be required.
Note: Setup instructions may vary slightly depending on your DAW version and operating system. For detailed, DAW-specific guidance, please refer to our complete setup guide.
Cubase
Demonstration version: (Tested on Cubase 12 Pro Demo Version).
- After opening Cubase, click "Studio" > "Studio Setup".
- Click "MIDI Port Setup", ensure there are 2 MIDI inputs and 3 MIDI outputs from the AeroBand Guitar.
- Find the entry labeled "Guitar-MIDI In", then uncheck the box next to 'In All MIDI Inputs'.
- Creating an Instrument Track: Add a new Instrument Track in Cubase, and select "AeroBand Midi" from the MIDI input options. If you want to use MIDI pedals or a controller with AeroBand AG guitars, please choose "All MIDI inputs".
- After completing the setup, you can begin creating music with your AeroBand Guitar.
Logic
- The operation in Logic is identical to Cubase: Go to "Settings" > "MIDI" > "Input".
- Deselect the "Guitar-Midi" checkbox.
FL Studio
- Open FL Studio and navigate to: "Options" > "MIDI settings".
- Ensure there are 2 MIDI inputs and 3 MIDI outputs from the AeroBand Guitar, and ensure "Guitar-Midi" remains disabled.
