Yes, AeroBand Guitar can work as a MIDI controller for VST/AU instruments in DAWs.
When connected to a computer via a wire connection, AeroBand Guitar outputs MIDI data that can be received by DAWs such as Cubase, Ableton Live, Studio One, and Reaper. You can then use your DAW's built-in virtual instruments or third-party VST/AU plugins to play a wide variety of instrument sounds.
Please note:
- AeroBand Guitar does not run or install VST/AU plugins directly. VST/AU plugins must be installed and hosted within a compatible DAW on your computer.
- AeroBand Guitar outputs each string on a separate MIDI channel by default. For the best playing experience, some VST/AU instruments may require support for multi-channel MIDI input.
- MIDI configuration varies between DAWs and plugins. Please refer to the documentation for your DAW or VST/AU plugin for the appropriate setup instructions.
