1. What is a Soundbank?

A Soundbank is a collection of instrument sounds (tones) used by your AeroBand Guitar. By installing or upgrading soundbanks, you can:

• Access a wider variety of instrument tones.
• Improve sound quality and realism.
• Expand your creative possibilities for playing and recording.

2. What can a Soundbank upgrade do?

2.1 Feature improvements and upgrades

Installing or upgrading a Soundbank can help:

• Unlock additional tones beyond the default set.
• Access newly released Soundbank versions.
• Upgrade the Soundbank version required by the app.

2.2 Troubleshooting guitar issues:

Upgrading the Soundbank may also help resolve issues with your AeroBand Guitar, including:

• Buzzing or unusual noise from a specific string.
• No sound from a single string.
• Unexpected volume fluctuations.
• A string producing sound inconsistently when played.

3. Soundbank Upgrade Notifications and Prompts

A new Soundbank version may be available if you see any of the following in the AeroBand Guitar app:

App Pop-up Notification

A pop-up notification may appear when opening the app after a new Soundbank version is released.

In-app Upgrade Entry

A Soundbank upgrade entry may appear at the top of the “Guitar” page in the app.

Feature-related Upgrade Prompts

Some app features require a newer version of Soundbank. In these cases, the app will display prompts guiding you to upgrade.

You can tap the button to copy the upgrade link and open it on your computer to complete the upgrade.

⚠️Note: The first two types of notifications (app pop-up and in-app upgrade entry) only appear when the current Soundbank version is lower than version 308.

4. Preparation Before Installation

Before starting the installation, ensure that your AeroBand Guitar meets the following conditions:

• Sufficient battery power is available.
• A stable internet connection is established.
• Bluetooth or USB connection is properly connected.
• The device will not be disconnected or powered off during the installation process.

5. How to Install or Upgrade a Soundbank

To install or upgrade the Soundbank for your AeroBand Guitar, follow these steps:

• Please click here on your computer to open the official Soundbank upgrade page.
• Download the appropriate Soundbank upgrade tool for your system and save it to your computer (make sure to select the version that matches your operating system).
• 
• Extract the downloaded package, open the tool, and launch the main interface.
• Connect the AeroBand Guitar to your computer using a Type-C cable, and ensure the tool shows a "Connected" status.
• Select the available Soundbank package (e.g., "Sound Pack_308") and click "Download Now".
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

• Wait until the installation is fully completed without disconnecting the device.

  ⚠️Under a stable internet connection, the upgrade typically takes 10–15 minutes, depending on the network speed and the size of the Soundbank file.

6. Installation Failure

If the Soundbank upgrade fails, it may be caused by one of the following reasons:

1. The guitar or USB cable was moved during the upgrade process.

   🌟Please do not move the guitar or disconnect the cable during the upgrade.

2. The USB cable being used does not support data transfer.

   🌟Please use a USB cable that supports data transfer.

3. The upgrade process was interrupted before completion.

   🌟Under normal circumstances, the upgrade process takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. But in some cases, the upgrade may take longer. We recommend continuing to wait until the page displays either a successful upgrade or an upgrade failed message.

4. The guitar firmware version is too low.

   🌟The guitar firmware must first be upgraded to version V30302082 or above through the app before performing the Soundbank upgrade.)

5. The computer used for the Soundbank upgrade is running an outdated operating system. 

   🌟For Mac computers, please select the appropriate file version according to the on-screen instructions. For Windows computers, Windows 10 or above is supported.)

7. After completing the installation

• Restart your AeroBand Guitar.
• Reconnect it to the AeroBand Guitar app.
• Check the tone list to confirm new soundbanks are available.

Tones can be switched using either the app or the guitar’s built-in controls.

8. Impact on Current Settings
