The AeroBand Guitar features five buttons in total.
On the headstock, there are three buttons:

- Two round ones for pitch adjustment (light press to raise/lower)
- One long oval button for changing the sounds (light press).
On the side of the guitar, you'll find two buttons:
- The microphone knob (rotate for mic volume, press for loop mode - which repurposes the headstock buttons for tempo control and rhythm patterns)
- The power knob (rotate for guitar volume, hold to power on/off).
