The AeroBand Guitar features five buttons.
On the headstock, there are three buttons:

- Two round ones labeled “CAPO+” and “CAPO-” for pitch adjustment (press to raise or lower the pitch)
- One long oval button labeled "TONE" for switching sounds (press to change tones).
On the side of the guitar, there are two control knobs:
- The microphone knob: rotate to adjust microphone volume, press to enter Loop Mode, which repurposes the headstock buttons for tempo control and rhythm patterns.
- The power knob: rotate to adjust guitar volume, press and hold to power the device on or off.
