1. Hardware Setup

- To enable Bluetooth pairing mode on the speaker/ headphones.
- Search for and connect the device in the computer's Bluetooth settings.
- Then set it as the default playback device in the "Sound Control Panel".
1.2 Check the system audio
Right-click on the volume icon in the computer taskbar → Select "Sound Settings" → Confirm that the output device is set to headphones/ speakers (not the system built-in speaker).
2. DAW Audio Routing
Configure your DAW's audio output correctly to ensure sound is played through your connected speakers or headphones instead of your computer's built-in speakers.
2.1 MacOS
2.1.1 Create an Aggregate Device
If your external speakers or headphones produce no sound, create an Aggregate Device in Audio MIDI Setup.
- Open Audio MIDI Setup.
- Click the "+" button in the lower-left corner and select Create Aggregate Device.
- Select your connected speakers or headphones as the output device.
2.1.2 Configure Your DAW
- Open your DAW's Audio Settings.
- Select the Aggregate Device you created as the audio output device.
2.2 Windows
2.2.1 Select the Audio Driver
- Open your DAW's Audio Settings.
- Set the Driver Mode to WASAPI.
2.2.2 Select the Output Device
- In the Output Device section, select your connected Bluetooth or wired speakers/headphones (for example, PreSonus HD10BT Stereo).
- Click Apply to save the settings.
