This guide covers battery life, playtime, charging times, and battery care for PocketDrum 2 Ultra. The PocketDrum 2 Ultra kit contains three rechargeable parts: the drumsticks, the foot pedals, and the adapter. Each of them is charged via USB-C.
1. The Battery Life of Pocket Drum 2 Ultra
With normal use, each part's battery is designed to retain at least 70% of its original capacity after 500 full charge cycles.
One cycle means using the equivalent of a full charge. For example, 50% one day and 50% the next day count as one cycle.
To keep the battery healthy for as long as possible:
- Avoid leaving the PocketDrum 2 Ultra kit in very hot or very cold places.
- Try not to let the battery fully drain, or to leave it at 100% for long periods.
- If the kit will not be used for a while, store it in a cool, dry place and recharge it periodically to prevent deep discharge.
2. Playtime and Charging Time
2.1 Battery Capacity by Part
| Part | Battery capacity | Playtime per charge | Charging time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foot pedals | 400 mAh / 3.7 V / 1.48 Wh | Up to 8 hours | About 1 h 13 min |
| Drumsticks | 400 mAh / 3.7 V / 1.48 Wh | Up to 8 hours | About 2 h 25 min |
| Adapter | 600 mAh / 3.7 V / 2.22 Wh | Up to 3.5 hours | About 2 h 30 min |
Note: These times are measured at 25 °C. They are not fixed values and fall within a -5 to +10 minute range.
2.2 Charging Options
- Charging input: 5 V / 0.3 A (1.5 W) over USB-C — identical for the foot pedals, the drumsticks, and the adapter.
- Charger: a standard 5 V USB power adapter is sufficient; no fast charger is required.
- Cable: use the bundled USB-Type-C 3-in-1 charging cable, which charges the pedals, drumsticks, and adapter at the same time. One orange lead carries both charging and data.

4. Temperature and Storage
- Operating temperature: 0 – 45 °C
- Storage temperature: -10 – 60 °C
- Avoid leaving the kit in a sun-heated car, next to a heater, or in other extreme conditions.
- For long-term storage, keep the kit in a cool, dry place and recharge it every 3 to 6 months so the battery does not enter a deep discharge state.
