After charging, you may notice the battery percentage in the app doesn't match what's shown on the adapter, or that changes you made to your settings weren't saved.
This happens because the adapter's temperature rises during or right after charging. When it crosses the safe limit, the sensor pauses charging, and the adapter briefly enters a protection state.
If you unplug the charging cable during this protection window, the adapter cuts power for about a second and restarts — so the latest battery level or your settings may not have been saved in time. That's why the app and the adapter can show different values.
To avoid it:
- Don't use the drumstick while the adapter is charging.
- Charge in one go for at least 3 hours in a well-ventilated, dry, non-flammable area, until it's full — all four indicator lights stay solid white, and the app shows a full battery.
- Avoid repeatedly plugging and unplugging the cable, playing while charging, or charging in an enclosed space.
If the mismatch persists after a full charge, please stop using it and contact the AeroBand Support Team at support@aeroband.net with details and a short video for troubleshooting.
