When you connect the PocketDrum 2 Ultra adapter to your computer over USB to record MIDI, the adapter also charges at the same time.
If the temperature rises during charging and triggers over-temperature protection, the Bluetooth link between the drumsticks, foot pedal, and adapter can drop.
The MIDI signals from the drumsticks and foot pedal then can't reach the adapter, so your computer temporarily stops receiving MIDI data.
To reduce this, please try the following steps:
- Let the adapter cool down before and during USB-MIDI recording.
- Avoid using it in hot environments or in direct sunlight.
- Please try using MIDI over a Bluetooth connection.
If the MIDI signal keeps dropping out, please stop using it and contact the AeroBand Support Team at support@aeroband.net with details and a short video for troubleshooting.
