The PocketDrum 2 Ultra adapter has a built-in temperature sensor (NTC) that protects the battery and internal circuits from overheating. When the adapter gets too hot, the sensor tells the circuit to pause — or slow down — charging. Once it cools back to a safe temperature, charging resumes on its own, which is why it can look like the adapter "stops charging."
This usually happens when the adapter is used while charging, or when it's charged in a poorly ventilated spot.
To charge it properly:
- Don't use the drumstick while the adapter is charging.
- Charge it on a flat, dry, non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Charge in one go for at least 3 hours until it's full — all four indicator lights stay solid white, and the app shows a full battery. Avoid repeatedly plugging and unplugging the cable, playing while charging, or charging in an enclosed space.
If the adapter still isn't fully charged after a 3-hour charge, please stop using it and contact the AeroBand Support Team at support@aeroband.net with details and a short video, and we'll help you troubleshoot.
